Carnegie’s Dalia Ghanem-Yazbeck joined RFI's Christina Okello to discuss the likelihood of change in Algeria after the elections. Yazbeck suggested that the National Liberation Front (FLN) and the National Democratic Rally (RND) will most likely win the majority of the seats. Yazbeck added that the RND understood the importance of social media and used it in order to rally support. She also said that political parties are the least trusted institutions in Algeria.
