Carnegie’s Dalia Ghanem joined ANEWS' Jaffar Hasnain on the latest episode of The Brief to discuss the Algeria protests. Ghanem noted that the protests represent a unique sequence of events that Algeria has not witnessed since the 1990's. She added that the mobilization of the people was one of the reasons that led Bouteflika to withdraw his candadancy for president. Ghanem aslo stressed that the protests were very peaceful and civilized.
