Carnegie’s Dalia Ghanem joined Al Jazeera English's 'AJ Stream', hosted by Femi Oke and Malika Bilalto, to discuss the Algeria protests. Ghanem noted that the protests represent a unique sequence of events in Algerian history. She aslo stressed that the protests were very peaceful and civilized. Finally when asked about the future of the country, Ghanem explained that even though Bouteflika is no longer running for a fifth term, the fact that elections were delayed should raise alarms, and that Algerians should continue their peaceful protests.
